Isabella França Ferreira, winner of the Owen Aldis Awards 2024
We congratulate PhD candidate Isabella França Ferreira for winning the Owen Aldis Awards 2024 fellowship from the International Society for Human Ethology (ISHE). This award recognizes the importance of her research, A psychoethological approach to the study of differential parental treatment of twins, supervised by Dr. Emma Otta and Dr. Briseida Dôgo de Resende, from the Laboratório de Etologia, Desenvolvimento e Interação Social (LEDIS), Department of Experimental Psychology.
The Owen Aldis scholarship supports research conducted by graduate students related to human ethology, i.e., the biological study of human behavior. With special emphasis on empirical research and in natural environments, it favors those that make use of methods developed by biology and human behavioral sciences.
We invite the academic community and those interested in understanding human behavior to follow the work of Isabella França Ferreira and the LEDIS laboratory.
